İstanbul Gender Museum
Established in 2022, Istanbul Gender Museum designs and realizes physical and virtual exhibition concepts accompanied by museum pedagogy modules, cultural events, publications and alternative communication methods.
The gender equality policy of the museum
Gender equality is the primary working principle of Istanbul Gender Museum.
The museum is an advocate of gender equality goals and obligations under International Human Rights Law (IHRL), the UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women and the Istanbul Convention.
